DigitalOcean Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DOCN) has announced the appointment of Bratin Saha as its new Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO). In this executive role, Saha will spearhead product strategy, development, infrastructure, and security, aiming to make DigitalOcean the top cloud platform for developers and expanding tech companies.
Saha joins DigitalOcean from Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he served as Vice President and General Manager of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Infrastructure. At AWS, he led the creation of one of the fastest-growing businesses in the company’s history, significantly contributing to the multi-billion-dollar annual recurring revenue (ARR) from the generative AI sector.
Before AWS, Saha held the position of Vice President of Software Infrastructure at Nvidia. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yale University. Saha’s prolific career includes over 70 granted patents, more than 30 conference and journal papers, and three Harvard Business School case studies on his work.
